Years of Experience
Nearly a century of bicycle knowledge, retail experience and customer trust.
A Legacy on Two Wheels
What began with two brothers and their love for bicycles became one of Egypt’s oldest and most recognized names in cycling.
Where It All Began
In the 1920s, Mohamed and Ibrahim rented bicycles near Ramses Square in central Cairo to enjoy their favorite pastime.
Their passion kept them riding beyond the agreed rental time. After an unpleasant experience when returning the bicycles, they told their father, Khalil Abo Elgoukh, what had happened.
Determined to protect his sons and give them a place where they could enjoy cycling freely, Khalil purchased land opposite the bicycle seller and opened a competing shop.
That decision marked the beginning of Abo Elgoukh — a family business that grew into one of the best-known bicycle names in Egypt and the Arab world.
One family decision became a century-long commitment to cycling, quality and trusted service.
